Hunger Games Viewing Party

We are excited to announce our plans for a Hunger Games Midnight Release viewing party at the Ipic theaters.  We will have the same deal as the Breaking Dawn viewing party, with popcorn and a drink included in your ticket price.  You can choose between premium and premium + plus seating.  We are also working with the Capitol Area Food Bank, in true Hob fashion, to bring food to the needy.

The real WEDDING OF THE YEAR comes to DVD on February 11th...Save the Date for the Austin Twilight Moms Breaking Dawn DVD release party!

A Celebration in honor of the 'Wedding of the Year' will be held Saturday February 11th, at 5pm.
Ms. Jill has offered to host this year's DVD party at her home in Cedar Park.

A complete meal will be provided. Tentative menu is Italian, including lasagna, bread, salad and more. And for dessert, a wedding cake even Jessica Stanley couldn't scoff at.

As is tradition there will be goodie bags filled with Twilight swag. Guests are asked to think creatively to come up with a Breaking Dawn themed party favor at the $1 per favor price point. Feel free to pool funds with your Twi- twin for an uber gift! The host has requested no edible items be given.

Each guest wishing to be included in the goodie bag head count needs to RSVP by February 1st with Ms. Jill regarding participation and your intended favor item to avoid duplication.

Brass Ovaries Review

One of the vendors who provided free passes in our ALS charity baskets was Brass Ovaries.  I didn't win, but hubby gave me a gift certificate for 5 classes as my Christmas gift.  Tonight was my first class. I took Pole Dancing 101, along with 5 perfect strangers.  Yes, I was the oldest and least in shape, but none of them made me feel conscious of that. We wore shorts and t-shirts, and went barefoot. The class was a blast and a real workout.  Definitely more fun than any aerobics class I have tried before.  I highly recommend the classes. The Austin Chronicle voted them the "Best Fantasy Fitness."  Thanks to Miss Sophie for making me feel like I was doing a great job. 

Besides, you can always say, "Alice made me do it!"

Beautiful 'Bella Bracelet' by Twilight Style contributed to the ALSF fundraiser

Ms. Stacy and the team at Twilight Style graciously provided a sterling silver 'Bella Bracelet' for the ALSF auction. The Twilight Style bracelet is an elegant interpretation of the bracelet and charms 'Bella' wears in Eclipse!

The Twilight Style 'Bella Bracelet' is made of .925 sterling silver and features a tiny carved wooden wolf for 'Jacob', and a 10mm CZ crystal heart for 'Edward'.

When owners of a Utah based book store, Stacy and Jason, first started shelving books from new author, Stephenine Meyer, they had no idea just how much their lives were about to change. The Twilight saga had them immersed into the world of vampires, werewolves, and true love. The obsession was instant. Ms. Stacy asked her web developer husband to create a personal Twilight website for her. But he was one step ahead.

Jason, the ultimate of all Twilight husbands, had approached a local jewelry maker about creating Twilight inspired jewelry for his wife. Not only had the jewelry designer (Ms. Shari) already made 'Bellas bracelet', but she had many more creations up her sleeve. Soon after, Jason and Ms. Stacy made an exclusive agreement with Ms. Shari to market and sell the Twilight inspired jewelry and Twilight Style was born!

Heartfelt thanks and Event pictures

I couldn't agree with Lauralee more. It was an amazing night! Lots of fun and thanks to all of you, we raised $1200 for charity. We loved planning this event for you and hope you enjoyed it half as much as we did. We will start planning for next year very soon so keep up with the blog for all the details. We would love to need 2 or even 3 theaters to fit everyone in!

Twilightmoms would like to thank Candace, all our donating vendors and all of you lovely Twilightmoms for your help in making the Austin Midnight Viewing Premiere Party such a huge success!  In addition to meeting new friends and seeing old ones, we had a lot of fun.  Alice would be proud of us.  The charity raffle and auction brought in over $1,100 for Alex's Lemonade Stand, showing what Alex knew--Peoples' hearts are in the right place.  AustinTwilightmoms.blogspot would like to thank IPic Theaters for being so gracious in helping us to coordinate this event.
